ABCs is pleased to announce our current project!  Working with Catoctin Wildlife Preserve & Zoo, we are raising funds to support our construction of a new exhibit.  The new enclosure will be for Gladys, the resident Galapagos Tortoise.  As a member of the second largest tortoise species in the world, Gladys' new enclosure will have a large area for her to roam in, and a few amenities to give it that homey feel.  The habitat will be stocked with Maryland native grasses and plants for easy foraging, and will contain a heated solarium that will provide year-round access to sunlight.
